The crucial factors, such as temperature stability and humidity, lighting control, ventilation and vibroacoustic insulation, have all been mastered. Their importance in storing prized wines is simple to demonstrate: eight years of aging at cellar temperature (12/13ºC) is equivalent to one year of aging at room temperature (22/23ºC).

The storage capacity of the W1 wine cellar in relation to its size is remarkable: the wine rack with four-level shelving (ranging up to 10 levels) has a total capacity of about 1500 bottles, diameter from 70mm to 87mm, i.e. fit for most types including Bordeaux and Burgundy.
